Nuflower believes that community based management of severe acute malnutrition is the absolute remedy for treating severe acute malnutrition which is the leading cause for death among children under the age of 5, accounting for approximately one million deaths. Around 20 million children worldwide suffer from this condition and it is estimated that 30% of the world’s malnourished children live in India.
When implemented and administered properly, Ready to-Use-Therapeutic Food is safe, cost effective and will save children from the menace of severe acute malnutrition.
We hope that this easy remedy to cure severe acute malnutrition finds place in the industrial manufacturing technology of other developing countries as well, thereby, saving the innocent lives and taking them towards a promising and a healthy future.
