Our Story
In 2014, at the age of 23, our founder, Akshat Khandelwal, met a pediatrician who was a family friend. This doctor spoke to him about the remarkable medical therapies being manufactured for severely malnourished children in other areas of the world.
Realizing that severe acute malnutrition (SAM) and widespread famine remained ongoing global challenges—particularly in India—Akshat embarked on his journey to establish a nutrition manufacturing company, despite having limited knowledge of both nutrition and manufacturing.
The journey was challenging. Akshat had to master unfamiliar disciplines and build a team without an established network to rely on. After almost a decade worth of tribulations and triumphs, Akshat with help from many, has been able to make Nuflower into an established manufacturer of Lipid-based Nutrient Supplements with a wide geographical footprint, and an impressive list of partners. More recently, Nuflower has expanded into private labeling of peanut butter for the most quality-conscious retailers and brands.

Misson
At Nuflower, our mission is rooted in addressing the widespread prevalence of the major killers of humanity today—metabolic disorders. These include obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, and malnutrition. Together, these four non-communicable diseases (NCDs) rank among the leading causes of death globally.
More importantly, the solution to these conditions lies not solely in medication but in nutrition requiring fundamental changes in one’s lifestyle and diet.
Our mission, therefore, is to make nutritional solutions for these structural health challenges both healthy and accessible in the most convenient way possible.
